This is software that lets you find out what`s happening on a Mac.
Duty Watch Remote is a computer monitoring software. It captures every keystroke on Mac, including web sites visited, applications used, chat conversations, etc. In fact, practically every activity of the user, such as each user login done, all programs initiated or switched to, are recorded. Besides recording the key strokes, the tool is able to use iSight camera screenshots. Remote monitoring for your employee on that Mac is now possible. You have proof if he was using in gainfully or was just goofing off on the Internet. DutyWatch Remote will provide you with comprehensive reports online, using Safari or iPhone/iPod Touch even without physical access to the monitored Mac. The tool will even provide graphs and charts of usage, such as a pie chart of applications usage times.
If you wanted to track if an employee is giving out your trade secrets, you could find if he typed banned key words. You could arrange to get an immediate email alerting you to the event. In fact special Keystrokes tab displays the full list of typed texts specifying the number of keystrokes typed for each application. Scheduling features allow you to set start of a monitoring period. On another angle the collected statistics will tell you clearly if the user needs any training on a specific application. How well your usage guidelines are being followed is also easy to find out. The system works with OS X. Obviously, it is possible to use it in your home machine if you needed to monitor how your wife/girlfriend uses it or to keep your children safe. This is a nice, little handy tool for monitoring a machine.
